S. Wesley Woolf

Wesley Woolf founded the law firm of S. WESLEY WOOLF, P.C. in 2009. He graduated from the University of Georgia in 1981 with a Bachelor of Science degree and, after working for two years at the Georgia State Capitol as the legislative aide to two Committees in the House of Representatives, he returned to Athens, graduating from the University of Georgia School of Law in 1986. His early legal career included service as a law clerk for the Honorable A. Blenn Taylor, Jr., Judge of the Superior Court of Glynn County, followed by employment with Judge Taylor’s former law partner, Thomas J. Lee, at Lee & MacMillan, P.A. on St. Simons Island, Georgia. At Lee & MacMillan, Wes served as an assistant county attorney, handling much of the County’s personnel and employment law needs. Wes then moved to Athens, Georgia to work for the civil rights law firm of Nelson & Hill, P.A., followed by employment in his hometown as an assistant city attorney with the City of Macon, Georgia.

In 2009, Wes returned to the practice of employment and personal injury law after practicing law and pursuing policy advancement for fifteen years in the public interest environmental sector as Vice President of the Georgia Conservancy, Director of the Atlanta Office of the Southern Environmental Law Center and Director of the Southeast Office of the National Wildlife Federation. His law practice now focuses on representing victims of employment discrimination, including race, gender, age, pregnancy and disability discrimination, sexual harassment, FMLA interference and retaliation, and wage and hour disputes. Wes also represents clients in severance pay negotiations, non-competition agreement disputes and separation negotiations. His practice also includes representing clients with civil rights personal injuries and representation of Georgia public and private school educators. Wes is a member of the State Bar of Georgia and is admitted to practice in all state and federal courts in Georgia.
